In the Winterweek a combination of lectures, practical sessions and stimulating discussions is provided by experts in the field of Regional Anesthesia and Acute and Chronic Pain management.
The venue of the congress allows also discussions and professional interaction outside the Congress during active sports and leisure and contributes to the open and relaxing atmosphere of this conference.
The lectures are state of the art lectures of new developments and knowledge in regional anaesthesia and pain management.
The workshops provide practical knowledge and skills which can be directly applied in daily practice. New developments relating not only to regional anaesthesia but which may also be applied in other fields of anaesthesia are also discussed and taught.

Merano/South Tirol – via Timmelsjoch Pass to Sölden to the Ötztal. High Alpine road leading up to 2.500 m above sea level. The Pass is open only from the beginning of June to the middle/end of October. Toll road!

From Innsbruck’s airport, you can reach the Ötztal by train. All regional trains stop in Ötztal Bahnhof at the entrance to the valley. From there you take the public bus line or a taxi.
Travelling by train is more flexible and relaxing than you imagine. The trains of Austria’s ÖBB or Germany’s DB railway companies take you safely to Tirol. Simply book your train ticket online and head for unforgettable days in the Ötztal.
You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi – which takes you directly to your accommodation in the valley.
