Dear ESRA Members,
Over the past months, our Society has experienced an important period of reflection, adaptation, and transition.
Throughout this process, one message has remained clear: ESRA is stronger than any individual moment because it is built by its people.
Today, we move forward together.
As Interim Major Officers, our priority is simple: to ensure continuity, strengthen transparency, support growth, and reinforce the sense of community that has always defined ESRA.
Continuity means protecting what ESRA has built over decades: excellence in education, scientific leadership, international collaboration, and opportunities for all generations of members.
Transparency means working openly, communicating clearly, and creating structures that support accountability and trust.
Growth means continuing to expand our educational activities, strengthen our partnerships, welcome new voices, and prepare ESRA for the future.
Community means remembering that behind every webinar, guideline, committee meeting, examination, workshop, congress session, and scientific initiative there are people—members, volunteers, office staff, committee members, faculty, and participants—who make ESRA possible.
The Extraordinary General Assembly (EGA) represented an important milestone in ensuring stability and continuity until our next regular elections in Lisbon.
Now, our focus shifts toward the future.
Over the coming months, members will have opportunities to: participate in elections, join committees and initiatives, contribute to educational and scientific projects, engage in webinars and congress activities, help shape the next chapter of ESRA!
This issue reflects exactly that spirit:
We invite you not only to read it—but to become part of it.
With gratitude,
The Interim Major Officers European Society of Regional Anaesthesia & Pain Therapy
