PROSPECT session: Post CS analgesia; RA for breast surgery & post-surgery chronic pain outcomes; Tonsillectomy

The PROSPECT group performs systematic reviews of the literature and produces, based on the PROSPECT methodology, procedure specific recommendations for acute postoperative pain management following specific surgical interventions. The group, composed from surgeons and anesthetists, provides recommendations on analgesic interventions and surgical technique. The goal of the current session is to discuss the recommendations for C-section, tonsillectomy and oncological breast surgery. Additionally, for breast surgery also chronic pain aspects will be discussed.
