17th ESRA Winter Week Conference

CONFERENCE STRUCTURE

In the Winterweek a combination of lectures, practical sessions and stimulating discussions is provided by experts in the field of Regional Anesthesia and Acute and Chronic Pain management.

The venue of the congress allows also discussions and professional interaction outside the Congress during active sports and leisure and contributes to the open and relaxing atmosphere of this conference.

The lectures are state of the art lectures of new developments and knowledge in regional anaesthesia and pain management.

The workshops provide practical knowledge and skills which can be directly applied in daily practice. New developments relating not only to regional anaesthesia but which may also be applied in other fields of anaesthesia are also discussed and taught.

LIABILITY AND INSURANCE

The Congress Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept li ability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

* ESRA  Members who wish to benefit from the reduced registration rates must have renewed their membership for 2020 prior to registering to the conference. In order to benefit from ESRA Membership reduced rate – please apply for membership at least 3 days prior to registration deadline.
** Resident/Trainee/Nurses – In order to benefit from the special fee, a submission of your status confirmation (approval letter signed by the Head of Department or copy of your status ID) must be uploaded during the online registration.

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment of registration fees (in EUR) can be made as follows:

By Bank Transfer (additional 30 EUR handling fee is required):

  • Please ensure that the name of the Congress and of the participant are stated on the bank transfer.
  • Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.

  • Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.
  • Outstanding payments will be collected on-site and charged with the on-site rate. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required in the event that registration fees were not credited to the Congress account on time.

 

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY:

All cancellations must be electronically mailed. Refund of registration fee will be as follows:

Note, in case of cancellation at any stage, Bank transfer handling fee (30 Euro) will not be refunded – applicable to Bank Transfer payments only.

  • Cancellations received until and including December 17, 2020 – full refund.
  • Cancellations received between December 18, 2019 to January 9, 2020 – 50% will be refunded.
  • From January 10, 2020 – no refund will be made.

From the South
Merano/South Tirol – via Timmelsjoch Pass to Sölden to the Ötztal. High Alpine road leading up to 2.500 m above sea level. The Pass is open only from the beginning of June to the middle/end of October. Toll road!

Search for direct flights available to Innsbruck.

From Innsbruck’s airport, you can reach the Ötztal by train. All regional trains stop in Ötztal Bahnhof at the entrance to the valley. From there you take the public bus line or a taxi.

TRAIN

Travelling by train is more flexible and relaxing than you imagine. The trains of Austria’s ÖBB or Germany’s DB railway companies take you safely to Tirol. Simply book your train ticket online and head for unforgettable days in the Ötztal.

You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi – which takes you directly to your accommodation in the valley.
