WORKSHOP STRUCTURE
Unique and intimate hands-on learning experience. Lectures, practical sessions and stimulating discussions will be led by leading experts in the field of Regional Anaesthesia.
This is a two-days intensive hands-on cadaver workshop offered to physicians to improve their skills in regional anaesthesia. After expert lectures the workshop is focused on hands-on practice using fresh frozen and fixed/standard cadavers. Participants will acquire a sound knowledge of ultrasound imaging and needling techniques.

The 39th ESRA RA Cadaver Workshop 20/02/2026 – 21/02/2026 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 15.5 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.
Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Information regarding the conversion of EACCME® credits
Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA.
For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.
Each participant should only claim those hours of credit that s/he actually spent in the educational activity.
The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. cf. Chapter XIII of UEMS 2023.07.
A feedback survey will be sent by email to all participants after the event. Once this form has been completed, your certificate will be delivered after the survey deadline.
The ESRA-DRA points for the 39th ESRA RA Cadaver Workshop are the following:
