CONFERENCE STRUCTURE

In the Winter Week a combination of lectures, practical sessions and stimulating discussions is provided by experts in the field of Regional Anaesthesia, Obstetrics, Acute and Chronic Pain management.

The venue of the congress allows also discussions and professional interaction outside the Congress during active sports and leisure and contributes to the open and relaxing atmosphere of this conference.

The lectures are state of the art lectures of new developments and knowledge in regional anaesthesia and pain management.

The workshops provide practical knowledge and skills which can be directly applied in daily practice. New developments relating not only to regional anaesthesia, but which may also be applied in other fields of anaesthesia are also discussed and taught.

• Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.

• Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.
• Unpaid registrations will be cancelled after 30 days or by December 21st, 2025; whichever is sooner.

All cancellations must be electronically mailed to office@esraeurope.org
Refund of registration fee will be as follows, minus the applicable processing fees of the initial payment:

• Cancellations received until and including November 15th, 2025 – full refund
• Cancellations received between November 16th to December 20th, 2025 – 50% will be refunded
• As of December 21st, 2025 – no refund will be made

* Note, in case of cancellation at any stage, a cancellation fee of EUR 30 will be applied, and this bank transfer charge will not be reimbursed.

Please secure your place at the Winter Week 2026 before purchasing your flight/train tickets and accommodation. Tickets are limited and ESRA is taking no responsibility for having made travel arrangements before having a valid ticket for the Winter Week 2026.

The ESRA Office and Scientific Committee cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Accreditation Statement and Credit Designation

The 20th ESRA Winter Week 18/01/2026 – 23/01/2026 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Information regarding the conversion of EACCME^® credits

Credit will be converted based on one (1) hour of participation equalling one credit for all activities. Physicians wishing to convert EACCME^® credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ will be required to access the AMA website at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications to obtain the necessary paperwork and instructions. Physicians and other health care professionals will be required to pay a processing fee to the AMA.

For other countries, please contact the relevant national/regional accreditation authority.

Credit Breakdown

Each participant should only claim those hours of credit that s/he actually spent in the educational activity.

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. cf. Chapter XIII of UEMS 2023.07.

Certificates

A feedback survey will be sent by email to all participants after the event.
Once this form has been completed, your certificate will be delivered after the survey deadline.

The ESRA-DRA points for the 20th ESRA Winter Week Conference are the following:

These points will be shown on the Certificate of Attendance delivered upon completion of the feedback survey after the conference.
