In the Winterweek a combination of lectures, practical sessions and stimulating discussions is provided by experts in the field of Regional Anesthesia and Acute and Chronic Pain management.
The venue of the congress allows also discussions and professional interaction outside the Congress during active sports and leisure and contributes to the open and relaxing atmosphere of this conference.
The lectures are state of the art lectures of new developments and knowledge in regional anaesthesia and pain management.
The workshops provide practical knowledge and skills which can be directly applied in daily practice. New developments relating not only to regional anaesthesia but which may also be applied in other fields of anaesthesia are also discussed and taught.

The target audience is clinical practitioners and residents/research fellows in the field of regional anesthesia and acute and chronic pain management. Because of the diverse, clinically focused educational offering, participants are able to tailor the curriculum to meet the needs of international clinicians of all levels of experience.

The 16th ESRA Winter Week Conference is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net.
The 16th ESRA Winter Week Conference is designated for a maximum of, or up to, 18 European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
