4th ESRA Residents & Trainees Workshop

ESRA designed this workshop for anaesthesiology residents who want to get started in the art of regional anaesthesia.

At a very attractive price and in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, beginners can learn basic anatomy and regional blocks with hands-on sessions and simulation in emergency situations and common complications associated with regional anaesthesia.

Why should I attend this meeting?

PAYMENT METHODS

Payment of registration fees (in EUR) can be made as follows:
By Credit Card: Visa or MasterCard
By Bank Transfer (additional 30 EUR handling fee is required):

  • Please ensure that the name of the Workshop and of the participant are stated on the bank transfer.
  • Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.

  • Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.
  • Outstanding payments will be collected on-site and charged with the on-site rate. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required if the registration fees were not credited to the Society account on time.

 

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be electronically mailed to events@esraeurope.org

Refund of registration fee will be as follows:

  • Cancellations received up and including 28 February, 2022 – full refund
  • Cancellations received between 1st March and 25 March, 2022 – 50% refund
  • As of 26 March, 2022 – no refund will be made

COVID-19 information

  • Cancellation prior to the first course day by ESRA in connection with local government measures
    If it is not possible to continue the course due to government restrictions, the course can be cancelled by ESRA up to one day before the first course day. Government restrictions are for example: ban on travel, ban on participation in meetings with groups with more than 10 participants. The participants will be informed of this as soon as possible. In that case ESRA will return the course fees paid by the participant.
  • Cancellation prior to the first course day of a multi-day course by the registered due to government measures of your home country
    If a participant is unable to attend the course due to Corona-related measures or rules, they can cancel the course up to one day before the start of the course. This concerns measures such as closing the borders but also quarantine obligations due to a Corona infection with a person with whom the participant has probably been in contact. In that case ESRA will return the course fee paid by the participant.
  • Cancellation of the first course day of a multi-day course by the participant due to infection or quarantine measures during your stay.
    If a participant has a Corona infection or a suspicion of a Corona infection, they must inform ESRA organisation as soon as possible. The participant can cancel the course up to one day before the start of the course. In that case ESRA will return the course fee paid by the participant.

Note, in case of cancellation at any stage, a cancellation fee of 30 EUR will be applied and bank transfer charge will not be reimbursed.

Accreditation Statement and Credit Designation

The 4th ESRA Residents & Trainees Workshop, Porto, Portugal, 01/04/2022-02/04/2022 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 12 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
