4th ESRA Residents & Trainees Workshop – postponed to 2021

The Portuguese government did not make any directive advising the postponement or cancelation of any course or workshop of this size. However, for safety reasons and due to the travel restrictions, this meeting is cancelled.

To those who have already paid their registration fees, ESRA gives the opportunity to transfer registration to the next edition of the event or receive an immediate refund, according to the participant’s wishes.

If you want to keep yourself updated about the COVID-19 outbreak, there are several communities that share online current status in Europe and beyond. Please check Johns Hopkins; WHO; European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control

ESRA designed this workshop for anaesthesiology residents who want to get started or want to improve in the art of regional anaesthesia, PoCUS and peri-operative medicine.

At a very attractive price (200€) and in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities, residents and young specialists can experience a totally renovated program: dynamic, appealing and exciting filled with problem-based learning presentations, live demonstrations and hands-on sessions on basic and advanced regional blocks, simulation in emergency situations and common complications associated with regional anaesthesia, as well as special PoCUS hands-on workshops.

Get your study leave and book your flight and accommodation early. It can be difficult to get an accommodation in Porto for those dates!

Workshop location

  • Hospital das Forças Armadas, Pólo Porto – lectures and workshops
Avenida da Boavista, s/n, 4050-113 Porto
  • Centro de Simulação Biomédico CHP-ICBAS – simulation workshops
