CONFERENCE STRUCTURE

In the Winter Week a combination of lectures, practical sessions and stimulating discussions is provided by experts in the field of Regional Anaesthesia and Acute and Chronic Pain management.

The venue of the congress allows also discussions and professional interaction outside the Congress during active sports and leisure and contributes to the open and relaxing atmosphere of this conference.

The lectures are state of the art lectures of new developments and knowledge in regional anaesthesia and pain management.

The workshops provide practical knowledge and skills which can be directly applied in daily practice. New developments relating not only to regional anaesthesia, but which may also be applied in other fields of anaesthesia are also discussed and taught.

• Please ensure that the name of the Workshop and of the participant are stated on the bank transfer.
• Please pay the registration fee latest within 10 days after registering.
• Bank charges are the responsibility of the participant and should be paid at source in addition to the registration fees.

• Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.
• Unpaid registrations will be cancelled after 14 days or by December 29th, 2024; whichever is sooner.

All cancellations must be electronically mailed to office@esraeurope.org
Refund of registration fee will be as follows, minus the applicable processing fees of the initial payment:

• Cancellations received until and including November 23th, 2024 – full refund
• Cancellations received between November 24th to December 28th, 2024 – 50% will be refunded
• As of December 29^th, 2024 – no refund will be made

Please note that administration fees for offline payments are non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Please secure your place at the Winter Week 2025 first before purchasing your flight/train tickets and accommodation. Tickets are limited and ESRA is taking no responsibility for having made travel arrangements before having a valid ticket for the Winter Week 2025.

The Congress Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept li ability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants and accompanying persons. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.

Accreditation Statement and Credit Designation

The 19th ESRA Winter Week Conference, Längenfeld, Austria, 26/01/2025 – 31/01/2025 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 20.0 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at https://edhub.ama-assn.org/pages/applications.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Credit Breakdown

Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 22 of UEMS 2023.07.

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 0,5 ECMEC® for 30 minutes of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. cf. Chapter XIII of UEMS 2023.07.

Certificates

A feedback survey will be sent by email to all participants after completion of the event. Once this form completed, your certificate will be delivered automatically after the deadline has passed.

The ESRA-DRA points for the 19th ESRA Winter Week Conference are the following:

These points will be shown on the Certificate of Attendance delivered upon completion of the feedback survey after the conference.
