Beyond the Bump: Managing the Unexpected in Obstetric Anaesthesia

  • Recognize anaesthetic considerations and risks in pregnant patients undergoing non-obstetric surgery.
  • Understand the pathophysiology and anesthetic implications of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, including preeclampsia and eclampsia.
  • Identify best practices for the prevention, diagnosis, and management of post-dural puncture headache (PDPH) in the obstetric population.
