EDRA Part II Section B examination

Please do not book before applying by email and receiving the approval from the EDRA Office. All information are available below.

Date and place

• Friday, 3 December 2021 – starting 2 pm CET.
• The exam will take place in the University of Witten/Herdecke, Department of Anatomy, Witten, Germany
• The EDRA part II is split into 2 parts, an onsite part and a remote part. Both parts are mandatory, candidates applying for the onsite part will need to take the remote part later on.
• Limited to 24 candidates
• Applications deadline: 26 November 2021*
  * The EDRA Board reserves the right to close the applications if the maximum capacity is reached before the closing date.

Price

• Total fee: €200, paid after your application has been approved by EDRA Office.

Cancellation policy

• Refunds will only be considered for exceptional circumstances (e.g. unwell medically, family bereavement, etc.). Documentation to support exceptional circumstances will be asked.
• Refunds will only be processed after the examination.

Eligibility and submission of documents

  Read them carefully. You will need to fulfill ALL the requirements prior applying for this exam.

You will need to send to the EDRA Office, edra@esraeurope.org an email with the subject “Application for EDRA Part II Section B exam – Last Name” containing:

1. Proof that you have passed EDRA Part 1.
2. A signed copy of the Blocks form. A template can be downloaded here.
3. Proof of attendances of
   1. Cadaver Workshop
   2. Hands-on Ultrasound Workshops
   You must have attended at least 3 courses/workshops – at least 1 must be an ESRA workshop.*Exceptionally for this exam, if you are missing an ESRA or a Cadaver Workshop, and you are willing to attend the ESRA CADAVER WORKSHOP in GERMANY that will be held in Witten on 4-5 December, please send us proof of your registration. The certificate of attendance must be sent to the EDRA Office afterwards. You can find more information about the Workshop here.
4. A receipt or other document showing that you are an ESRA member holding a valid membership at the time of the application.
5. If you are a retaker please send proof that you have attended the EDRA Part II exam in the past.

Your application will be reviewed and if it fulfils the requirements, you will be notified and asked for the payment. If there are problems with your application, then you may be asked for other details or your application may be rejected.
